You have received a smartphone from The Connectivity Project (TCP), along with 90 days of unlimited service through our wireless partner, US Mobile. This includes:
Unlimited Talk & Text
Unlimited High-Speed Data
Nationwide Coverage
The phone is yours to keep, and we hope it helps you stay connected to the people, opportunities, and resources that matter most.
-
Now that your 90-day service period is ending (or has ended), you have a few options — but we strongly encourage you to keep your number:
It’s easy to do
It ensures people like employers, doctors, and family can still reach you
It’s more affordable than most prepaid plans
US Mobile offers plans starting at just $10/month, with no credit check required. You will need a debit or credit card to pay your monthly bill.
You can:
Continue service by setting up your own account with US Mobile. TCP will send you a reminder text approximately one week before your service ends — but you don’t have to wait. You can initiate the process at any time by emailing stephanie@thecellphoneproject.org or texting 828-545-6169.
Transfer your number to a different carrier — just let us know, and we’ll release it.
⚠️ Important: You must have an active email address in order to transfer your number. Be sure you can access it during the setup process.
The phone you received is completely unlocked and can be used with most major wireless networks, including low-cost government services as listed below.
