THE CONNECTIVITY
PROJECT
Mission
The Connectivity Project is dedicated to bridging the digital divide for individuals in crisis by providing access to refurbished cell phones, laptops, and essential digital connectivity services.
Our Organization
As connectivity becomes increasingly vital for accessing employment, education, healthcare, and essential resources, we recognize the urgent need for reliable devices. There are existing federal government cell phone programs, however, we specifically aim to address the gaps they leave for individuals who may not have the time to wait for assistance, are in crisis, lack a permanent address, or live in households that already have a government phone …

“While society may view a homeless person’s ownership of a smartphone as an unnecessary extravagance, in reality, experts say, this demographic is one that is most dependent on the technology as a resource for stability.”
— Rosie Spinks, The Guardian
